Craft Projects
The beginning of a new semester is perhaps not the time to be thinking of craft projects… but I can’t help it. Here are some I would like to do:
Make a terrarium, of course.
Make these crocheted heart valentines.
Make playsilks for Miriam’s birthday; I would actually like to order some larger ones, I have some small sized ones, but I think at least one really big one and a few medium size (toddler-sarong-size) would be great.
Make potato-print valentines with Miriam.
Some oilcloth placemats, and aprons.
T-shirt stamping, Miri would love that. We could also make tote bags or something as gifts.
Make crazy crayons, from old crayons (surely Gringie has a ton of these).
Ribbon head bands. These would be especially good if you could find some way to make them non-slip. And I’d also like to make some headband-style kerchiefs (as in, they have elastic at the bottom rather than from a scarf - but from a scarf isn’t that bad either) - we’re growing out Miri’s bangs.
And for Miriam’s birthday dressup box, faerie wings, a tutu, and a cape. Maybe these flower masks. Maybe bunny ears. Maybe also these cute flower collar things.
Dip-dye wrapping paper. Maybe we can do this in advance and save up a whole bunch of it.
